I-Loc IM Fixator Workshop Information

The full day I-Loc workshop for veterinary orthopedic surgeons teaches proper technique for use of the industry's first angle-stable interlocking nail system, focusing on preoperative planning, surgical technique, and clinical follow-up. The workshop includes classroom lecture, discussion, and wet lab, providing an opportunity to use the instruments to gain an understanding of the surgical objectives.

I-Loc IM Fixator Dry Lab Workshop Information

The half day I-Loc IM Fixator workshop will describe the principles of interlocking nailing in a variety of long bone fracture configurations. Evolution of interlocking nail designs, with an emphasis on the concept of angle-stable centromedullary fixation will be succinctly presented. Detailed surgical techniques for open and closed fracture fixation using the I-Loc system will also be demonstrated. Lecture will conclude with a report of clinical results and expectations.

A sawbones lab including hands-on fracture reduction and fixation will be available for those interested following the lecture. Participants will receive sawbones and one complete implant set (1 nail and 4 bolts) to be used for future demonstration purposes.
